Facebook is testing cross-posting on Facebook and Instagram. I am not shocked by this news, but the size of images on both platforms is different so I wonder how that would work out. Do you think Facebook and Instagram will eventually consolidate the different image sizes?
Facebook announced Codeless Events Setup for Apps. This will help you "understand how people interact with their business on mobile." This is meant to improve the efficiency of your advertising campaigns! You can learn more about this here.
Facebook has announced that they have, “decided not to design or build our own aircraft any longer, and to close our facility in Bridgewater." This means their dream of building a solar-powered plane to blast internet to underserved communities via laser has come to an end.
Spoiler! Have you ever watched a show on Netflix, trying to catch up while it is on live tv at the same time?! Same. Facebook will now allow you to add keywords to 'snooze', so you don't see any spoilers for 30 days!
Facebook said,
“Ever read a spoiler online before you’ve watched the last episode of the season? Or maybe you waited years for a movie sequel only to have your favorite blogger reveal the ending? We’ve all been there. To prevent future heartache, we’re beginning to test the next addition to our suite of News Feed controls, Keyword Snooze.”

Do you have three friends? Yay, you! You can now video chat with all of them at the same time! Instagram said, “Video chat gives you the experience of real-time video in a private space and helps you feel close and connected to friends when you can’t be together,”

Instagram also changed up the way your explore page looks a little bit. At the top of your explore page, Instagram allows you to dive a little bit deeper into what it thinks you are most interested in. Mine is a lot of golden retrievers + exercise ideas. 🤷🏼♀️
