Uh, well, I can explain.
As a well adjusted narcissist, and I am aware of how much I want to be ‘liked’ and appear to ‘have it all together.’ Through social media we are now able to engage and create relationships with people who once seemed fictitious. These people are known as Social Media Influencers, Instagram Famous, Twitter Personalities and the once relevant and dearly missed ‘Viners’.

Social Media Influencers are able to portray inclusiveness, and invoke a secret-club-like environment on their social platforms. They present the idea of “you can do this also” and honestly, it SPEAKS, and then you find yourself influenced and it makes you want to stomp on their Femme 90 - Suede clad toes.
We might perceive these personalities as stronger thinkers, writers and doers than ourselves, who's curated lifestyles are far from reality, and crave for our lives to reflect what they are projecting.
At Sociallyin, some of our team didn't consider themselves ‘influenced,’ or dictated by how they see themselves or make purchase decisions. We took a harder look, and turns out not even the most unique personalities are immune to the magnetic appeal of influencers.
