Is it just me, or does Instagram come out with a new feature every week? Either way, I'm here for it!
I'm back to let you know what little changes you may have missed during your busy week and which updates you should 100% take note of. So, let's take a look.
The biggest update in social media this week has got to be Instagram Stories adding the Questions sticker. Whether you manage a personal account, a brand account, or both -- this update is an interesting way to get your followers to engage with your account in a convenient and fun way!
This is nothing new if you use Instagram, but Facebook is testing story highlights.
Facebook said,
“People have told us they want a way to highlight and save the Stories that matter most to them. We’ll soon start testing highlights on Facebook – a way to choose Stories to stay on your profile, making it easier to express who you are through memories.”
Not really surprised about this update. It was only a matter of time.
SNAPCHAT
Take note of this update. Snapchat may be adding a new visual product discovery option. This would allow you to scan products with the camera and BUY them. Can you imagine? How easy would that be?!
Your wallet is not safe.
In case you were curious, Twitter is still working on removing 'spammy bots and trolls.' It's nothing new, just something to take note of.
Twitter will also take some notes from Facebook and allow you to 'dock' and watch videos while you scroll through other tweets. This is currently only available to Android users.. but if you have an Android, tap the dock option on the top right and your screen will minimize so you can keep scrolling. Try it out and let me know what you think!
TWEET OF THE WEEK
It's a fact.
